The Victorian Youth Refuge Forum will take place on Wednesday October 29, 11am-1pm, at Richmond Town Hall, 333 Bridge Road. All those whose work is connected to the youth refuge area of the sector are invited to attend.
Agenda items on the day will include: an update from Robb McGregor (DHS, Northern Region) on the Northern Region Crisis Initiative that has been established following the closure of the At Last refuge; information about moves to establish a closer working relationship between the refuge forum and Council to Homeless Persons; and a talk by Shelley Mallett from Project i on the project’s new drug report and some of the implications for crisis accommodation services.
