Protecting our Human Rights Forum We would like to invite you to come along to our upcoming community forum on human rights. At this forum you will find out about how human rights effect our daily lives, see how rights are protected in other countries and ask what you think should happen in Victoria. This free forum will be on Tuesday August 2, 1 - 4pm at Maroondah Federation Estate in Ringwood. This forum will also show you how to contribute to the Human Rights Consultative Committee, which was established by the Victorian Government to see whether Victoria should have laws to protect human rights. To register please read the flyer, attached, then call ECLC on 9877 5777 or emailing eclc@eclc.org.au by Friday 29 July 2005. To prepare for the Forum, you may wish to visit our website www.eclc.org.au, where we have links to information about human rights and the human rights committee. thank you Richard Duffy Community Legal Education and Law Reform Worker Eastern Community Legal Centre Inc Event date: 2/08/2005 Source: Eastern Community Legal Centre |
